March 19, 2010 Following a statewide review of halfway houses and community-based correctional facilities (CBCFs) recidivism rates, on March 2, 2010, the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) put six CBCFs on notice and will end contracts with three low-performing halfway houses as of June 30, 2010. ODRC will end its contracts with Nova House in Dayton; Crossroads Center for Change in Mansfield, and Southwest Ohio Serenity Hall in Hamilton.
