Indiana Medicaid Preferred Drug List
April 1, 2011 The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration will use psychiatric medication guidelines developed by the state Department of Mental Health as the basis for determining Medicaid beneficiariesÂ’ access to psychiatric medications in outpatient settings. The legislature had been considering changes to the Medicaid Preferred Drug List that would have favored medications with larger manufacturer rebates, with a goal of reducing Medicaid pharmacy costs.
