April 15, 2010 As of April 2010, the Mental Health Association of Minnesota noted in a report about the redesign proposal, not only were the community behavioral health hospitals (CBHH) under utilized and operating at half capacity, assessments indicated that only half of the CBHH patients met criteria for inpatient acute hospital level of care. At the time, only four of the CBHHs had been certified by CMS to accept Medicare or Medicaid reimbursements and revenue from the CBHHs was below state forecasts. Download the Report . . .
