May 3, 2011 In August 2011, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is planning to release a request for proposals (RFP) for redesigned foster care services that will award a single source continuum contract (SSCC) for residential child care services in a designated catchment area; reimbursement will be based on a blended case rate. DFPS released this draft RFP to gather comments from stakeholders that will be used to revise the pending RFP.
