May 14, 2010 The Department of Justice has released Supplemental Guidelines for Sex Offender Registration and Notification (SORNA). These guidelines will allow jurisdictions to exempt information concerning sex offenders required to register on the basis of juvenile delinquency adjudications from public web site postings. All jurisdictions will be required to stop posting sex offenders' e-mail addresses on public web site postings. All sex offenders will be required to report international travel 21 days in advance.
