May 27, 2010 Vermont passed an autism insurance reform law on May 27, 2010 that is due to go into effect July 1, 2010. This law will provide coverage to individuals for the diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders. This law covers treatment for children from the age of 18 months to six years.
