‘Pathway To Integration’ Michigan’s 1115 Waiver Proposal For Persons With SMI, Substance Use Disorders, IDD & Children With SED

On June 21, 2016, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services sent this waiver proposal to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding persons with severe mental illness (SMI), substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), and children with serious emotional disturbances. Through this waiver proposal, Michigan is seeking broad flexibility to further develop and evaluate the outcomes associated with quality and value-based payment and financing approaches for integrated care initiatives for all specialty service populations on a statewide basis . . .
