Wisconsin Assembly Bill 75 Concerning Vendorship/Mental Health Access Changes
June 29, 2010 Starting January 1, 2011, a 2009 Wisconsin law the Mental Health Access and Vendorship Billwill permit psychologists, licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), marriage and family therapists, and other professional counselors to bill the state Medicaid plan without going through a state clinic. However, full implementation is stalled because the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has not developed a reimbursement process.
