June 30, 2011 Magellan Behavioral Care of Iowa is helping the State of Iowa Department of Human Services (DHS) expand access to community-based crisis behavioral health services. They have contracted with Hillcrest Family Services, a non-profit behavioral health provider organization, to establish the services in seven counties, and with the Blackhawk/Grundy Community Mental Health Center in Waterloo in partnership with Pathways Behavioral Services and the Northeast Iowa Community Mental Health Center.
