KC v. North Carolina DHHS, et al., Regarding Medicaid Supports Determinations for Persons With Developmental Disabilities
July 1, 2011 On July 5, 2011, a coalition of advocacy groups filed a federal lawsuit seeking class action status against the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Piedmont Behavioral Health (PBH) over Medicaid cuts to developmental disability support services based on a new service determination system.
