Crime in England and Wales 2009/10
July 15, 2010 The British Crime Survey collects data in door-to-door interviews with people age 16 or older living in private residential households. The questions ask whether the person had been the target of actual or threatened violence during the past year. The survey measures specifically ask about non-domestic and domestic physical and sexual violence. Sexual assault and domestic violence were also measured using a self-completion questionnaire, which was completed by about 80% of survey participants. Download the Report . . .
