July 20, 2009 The United States Department of Health and Human Services published their Knowledge Informing Transformation (KIT) on Family Psychoeducation. This KIT, titled, How to Use the Evidence-Based Practices KITs: Psychoeducation, gives states, communities, administrators, practitioners, consumers of mental health care, and their family members resources to implement mental health practices that work.
