Designing Effective Health Care Quality Transparency Initiatives
July 21, 2009 Two state-based programs, CalHospital Compare and Massachusetts Health Quality Partners, have implemented model transparent health care quality. These two programs have been successful because they engage and collaborate with providers, give attention to quality of data reported, present easily comprehendible data sets, and provide hospitals with detailed performance records.
