The lawsuit Brown v. Rawson Neal was initially filed on June 11, 2013, by the American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada on behalf of a plaintiff discharged from the Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (SNAMHS) Rawson-Neal Psychiatric Hospital without formalized aftercare arrangements.
