July 26, 2011 After reviewing the findings of a grand jury report critiquing the adequacy of mental health services provided to jail inmates in Riverside County, California, on July 26, 2011, the county board of supervisors announced plans to improve services. The grand jury report reviewed mental health services provided by the Riverside SheriffÂ’s Department Corrections Division and made 12 recommendations.
