CMS Approval Of New Jersey 1115 Medicaid Waiver Extension For Family Care Comprehensive Demonstration

On July 27, 2017, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued this letter, which approved a waiver extension for New Jersey's section 1115(a) demonstration, NJ FamilyCare Comprehension Demonstration. The waiver not only consolidates authority for several existing Medicaid waivers, but initiates a variety of health reforms in New Jersey's Medicaid program.
