Virginia DBHDS Priorities and Behavioral Health Care Updates
August 4, 2010 In September 2010, the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) will open a $59.7 million 150-bed inpatient adult mental health treatment center at Eastern State Hospital. The center will serve individuals with serious mental illnesses (SMI), including those receiving court-ordered treatment.
