This document was released in August 2015 by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the federal Department of Health and Human Services The OIG reviewed Medicaid provider enrollment data to determine if states were able to ensure that providers terminated for cause from Medicaid participation in one state were also barred from participation in other states.
