On August 9, 2017, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) published this study on Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) oversight of access and quality in states' Medicaid managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) programs. GAO reviewed six states - Arizona, Delaware, Kansas, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Texas - and found that gaps in reporting requirements could mean that CMS does not always have the information needed to monitor key aspects of MLTSS access and quality . . .
