Oregon Health Plan Timeline for Implementing Coordinated Care Organizations
August 15, 2011 The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) plans to move to a new Medicaid service delivery and payment system through coordinated care organizations (CCOs)that will provide risk-based, integrated managed care services for people enrolled in the Oregon Health Plan. The CCO service delivery system was created by 2011 state legislation, with implemention to start in July 2012. The CCOs will serve regions as a single point of accountability for the provision of integrated physical, mental health, and dental care services. This document is the timeline for the CCO rollout.
