C4.Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems – Clinician & Group Measures: Patient Experience Measures from the CAHPS® Clinician & Group Surveys
In December 2013, the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released nine core measures for assessing the quality of behavioral health care services integrated into primary care. The measures were developed and validated for use in various quality-of-care applications. Core measures align closely with the Integration Framework. The ninth measure is C4 is Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems - Clinician & Group Measures. The measure is titled, "Patient Experience Measures from the CAHPS® Clinician & Group Surveys." It was designed to measure coordinated care in general and can be adapted to measure integrated care.
