September 8, 2011 The U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) released the document to instruct its investigators to consider health care and social service workplaces at high-risk for employee injury or assault. Investigations will focus on whether an employer recognized the existence of potential workplace violence hazards to staff and took preventive measures.
