On September 8, 2017, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) issued these updates to the proposed changes to the state's Medicaid 1115 demonstration waiver, MassHealth. The five updates are summarized in this document and include: eliminating the employer-sponsored insurance gate requirement, exempting veterans from the shift from MassHealth to the Connector, maintaining current premium assistance wraps for non-disabled adults, mitigating any cost-sharing impact, and expanding subsidized dental coverage for the Health Connector’s ConnectorCare Plan Type 1.
