PPA Surveys Health Care Insurers in Pennsylvania
September 20, 2010 In a recent survey, members of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA) rated health plans in the state for access to psychological services, protection of patient privacy, efficiency, and the psychologists overall satisfaction with the services available to patients. Highmark of Pennsylvania received the highest overall ranking and MHNet the lowest ranking. The psychologists ranked Highmark, Aetna, Medicare, Independence Blue Cross, Capital Blue Cross, Medicaid, United Healthcare, UPMC, Other out-of-state Blues, Other Insurers, MH Net, CIGNA, Blue Cross of NEPA, and ValueOptions.
