Wisconsin Proposed Rule Relating to Treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders
September 22, 2009 The Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance released interim rules to guide insurers required to cover treatment for autism spectrum disorder. The coverage started November 1, 2009. The rules define terms for intensive-level services, non-intensive-level services, qualified, and paraprofessionals. It also addresses education necessary to be considered qualified to provide treatment.
