NAIC Draft Medical Loss Ratio Rules
October 14, 2010 The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) was required by a rule, mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (ACA), to develop uniform definitions and methodologies for calculating insurance companiesÂ’ medical loss ratios.
