Blue Shield of California‘s MHSA Contract with USBHPC Termination Effective 12/31/11

October 15, 2011 In January 2012, Magellan Behavioral Health started a new contract with Blue Shield of California as behavioral health services administrator. The contract covers behavioral health benefits provided by Blue Shield of California and Blue Shield Life & Health Insurance Company.  This notice was issued by the previous administrator, U.S. Behavioral Health Plan, CA (USBHPC), to alert beneficiaries and its provider network.
