First Annual Report to Congress on High-Priority Evidence Gaps for Clinical Preventive Services
October 15, 2011 The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommended additional research be conducted to close evidence gaps for clinical preventive services. In prioritizing certain topics for additional research, USPSTF anticipates being able to develop recommendations for related preventive services. The USPSTF research recommendations focused on three areas: screening tests, behavioral interventions, and clinlical preventive serivces targeting specific populations and age groups.
