RFP for Preferred Provider Organization Network Services for California Prison Health Care Services
October 20, 2009 California Prison Health Care Services sought a managed care organization to administer and provide preferred provider organization (PPO) services for the state's 33 prisons. The initial contract lasts for two years and has three one-year extension options. The RFP specifically omitted the provision of mental health care services from the managed care services.
