Review of Medicaid Personal Care Services Claims Made by Providers in New York State
October 20, 2010 In 2010, the Office of the Inspector General released findings on inappropriate Medicaid personal care services claims. The report found that eighteen percent of paid claims for Medicaid personal care services(PCS) provided between September 1, 2006, through August 31, 2007, were inappropriate because attendants' qualifications were undocumented.
