New York State Office of Mental Health Request For Proposals Supported Housing For Adult Home Residents Released October
October 29, 2010 New York State Office of Mental Health released a request for proposal (RFP) for supported housing for adult home residents as part of its settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding Disability Advocates v. Paterson. Proposals were due November 19, 2010. The awards were announced on January 20, 2011, and the contracts were to have started February 1, 2011. However, the court issued OMH a temporary stay on implementing the settlement agreement, so until a final ruling is issued, all contracts will be on hold.
