California DSS All-County Letter 17-111: Delayed Implementation Of The Home-Based Family Care -Level Of Care Rate Determination Protocol

On November 3, 2017, California's Department of Social Services (DSS) sent this letter to all state counties on the delayed implementation of the home-based family care-level of care (LOC) Rate Determination Protocol. DSS informed the counties that the LOC Rate Determination Protocol will not be implemented until February 1, 2018 in order to give agencies more time to train their workforce regarding appropriate use of the LOC Protocol.
