November 14, 2010 Disability Rights California has started a new five-year, $26 million contract with the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to provide statewide clients' rights advocacy services to individuals with developmental disabilities living in the community who receive, or are applicants for, regional center services. The contract started July 1, 2011 and will run through June 30, 2016. Disability Rights California was the incumbent and the sole bidder.
