November 16, 2009 The Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Medical Services (DMS) sought sought utilization and quality control peer review of inpatient psychiatric services for Medicaid beneficiaries under age 21. The state has 31 inpatient psychiatric provider organizations. Of those, 21 are located in-state and 10 are out-of-state. The contractor will provide care coordination, admission diversion, discharge planning, and de-institutionalizing Medicaid-eligible youth who meet pre-defined benchmarks. Download the Report . . .
