This document was released on December 16, 2015 by the federal Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) Diabetes Public Health Resource. Researchers with the CDC’s Division of Diabetes Translation, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion analyzed data from the National Health Interview Survey. They found that between 2009 and 2014, the number of adults in the United States with newly diagnosed diabetes decreased by 17.6%, from 1.7 million in 2009 to 1.4 million in 2014 . . .
