New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department Contract Termination Letter To The Non-Metro Area Agency On Aging

The letter was released on December 20, 2017. The New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD) reviewed operations of the New Mexico Non-Metro Area Agency on Aging (NMAAA). The NMAAA has coordinated regional senior service programs that distribute about $20 million annually to 65 different programs across the state, serving about 70,000 people. It operated everywhere but Bernalillo County. The ALTSD reviewed NMAAA operations following allegations that provider organizations were not paid timely. The ALTSD concluded that the allegations were true, and issued this contract termination letter . . .
