Statement Of Work For Medicare Advantage Recovery Audit Contractor, Request For Comment

The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is preparing to launch recovery audit contractors (RAC) for the Medicare Advantage program. CMS has been operating Medicare RAC programs for Parts A and B since January 2010. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) calls for the Medicare RAC program to be expanded to cover Medicare Advantage plans.
