On October 1, 2014, the program through which the State of Kansas administers Medicaid, KanCare, released a program manual to provide Medicaid policy and billing guidance to providers participating in the KanCare Health Homes Program for people with serious mental illness (SMI). The manual provides instructions about how to become a Health Homes Partner, guidance about Health Homes services, information relating to billing procedures, and links to additional information.
