On June 25, 2019, the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors released this motion regarding implementing a jail-based job center pilot program at Century Regional Detention Facility for Women (CRDF). In reponse to an evaluation submitted by the Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services (WDACS), the new motion approves the establishment of a two-year Jail-Based Job Center (JBJC) pilot program at CRDF by August 31, 2019 and adopt the recommendations provided in the report submitted to the Board . . .
