Pennsylvania DHS Stakeholder Notice About Delay To Implementation Of Community HealthChoices

In this December 15, 2016 notice to stakeholders, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) announced that due to a bid protest, it would delay the implementation timeline for its Medicaid Community HealthChoices (CHC) program until January 2018. The CHC will provide managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS); the state had selected proposals in August 2016, and had intended to start the phase one implementation in March 2017.  However, due to the bid protests, DHS has not been able to engage in readiness activities with the contractors or communications with potential CHC members . . .
