On August 25, 2016, the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) announced that in July 2016 it had launched a new Title IV-E demonstration project called “Fostering Sustainable Connections.” The program will help connect youth living in group homes and shelters with extended family and other supportive adults. The goal is to reduce the number of youth living in non-family setting and increase the number of youth who have positive relationships with adults.
