Michigan legislators are considering a package of bills to reform the state’s juvenile justice system. Key focuses of the reform include raising the maximum age of juvenile court jurisdiction from 17 years old, to 18 years old and increasing use of community based services by augmenting the County Child Care Fund reimbursement rate.
