30 States Awarded $315 Million To Fund Housing & Supportive Services For People Experiencing Unsheltered/Rural Homelessness

On February 2, 2023, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded nearly $315 million in grants and vouchers to 46 communities in 30 states that will use the funds to reduce the incidence of unsheltered and rural homelessness. Of the grant funds, $54.4 million was awarded to 27 states to be used to reduce rural homelessness; 18 of those states received only an award to reduce rural homelessness.
