Nearly half of Americans surveyed (49%) say they would use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to monitor their mental health, which could include analyzing video calls, keystrokes, vocal inflections, and digital behavior patterns, a recent report stated. Despite the willingness of the respondents to accept AI monitoring, 73% of those surveyed prefer human decision-making over AI being in control of the next steps if AI flags a mental health emergency.
