Medicare Expands Coverage Of Digital Mental Health Treatment Devices For ADHD Amid Feedback On Additional Services
The Medicare Physician Fee Schedule for 2026 includes provisions to cover digital mental health treatment (DMHT) devices for attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), according to the final rule and a fact sheet issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on October 31, 2025. The provisions apply to DMHT devices included as part of ongoing behavioral health care treatment for a psychiatric disorder under a behavioral health treatment plan of care, furnished by an appropriate health care provider.
