Immigration & Customs Enforcement Contracting Practices Questioned As Expansion Plans Grow

Requesting an assessment by the federal Government Accountability Office (GAO) of contracting practices by U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) in a letter dated September 25, 2025, U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal, Ranking Member Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement House Committee on the Judiciary, called for a review of ICE's policies and procedures as its expansion plans grow.
