Medicare Finalizes Behavioral Health Integration Add-On Codes For Advanced Primary Care Management

Medicare is finalizing new add-on codes for Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM) services that would facilitate providing complementary behavioral health integration (BHI) or psychiatric Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) services. The new codes were established in the final rule for the 2026 Physician Fee Schedule.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will allow three new G-codes to be billed as add-on services when the APCM base code is reported by the same clinical professional in the same month.
