Nevada To Implement Specialty Managed Care For Children & Youth With Complex Behavioral Health Needs
The Nevada Medicaid program plans to contract with a managed care organization (MCO) to provide a specialty plan for children involved in the child welfare system and those with behavioral health disabilities. The plan also includes youth with dual diagnoses of intellectual or developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, and other complex medical health needs. Eligibility for the plan is broader than the focus population, in alignment with Nevada’s health transformation goals.
