More Than 30% Of Medicare Quality Measures Include Individuals Covered By Medicaid & Other Payers

Over 30% of health care quality measures implemented by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) require provider organizations serving Medicare beneficiaries to include data for people whose health care is covered by other payers. Over 40% of the Medicare quality measures include data for Medicaid beneficiaries.

These findings were reported in the 2015 “National Impact Assessment of Quality Measures Report” released by CMS on March 2, 2015.
