October 7, 2002 Florida Judge Approves Release of Missing Child Information On September 13, 2002 Florida Judge Nikki Clark gave the state child welfare agency permission to release information about missing foster children, loosening the department's confidentiality policy. She ruled the Department of Children & Families can disclose missing children's names, dates of birth, dates of disappearance, dates last seen and agency efforts to find them.
